Wednesday 1st

My nursery is slowly turning into an animal farm, I hope you can still see me! I'm the one sporting the cool tracksuit trousers from Kerry. I must go through a lot of clothes, all mummy managed to do today was my laundry.

Went to postnatal group on Thursday. I did my superwoman impression and everyone had a good laugh. And we got given some nice books to read at bedtime. Had a bath in the evening, 'cos apparently I needed it.

Friday 3rd

Well, all that practice is starting to pay off. I did wonder if my hand was really meant to fit into my mouth, but I'm now quite happy sucking on my thumb. It's most fun whilst making really loud sucking noises!

Saturday 4th

Today we walked to Cherry Hinton (it was like the arctic out there!) to join the library. Mummy helped me choose 7 books, but we'll have to read them soon as we're supposed to give them back. Somehow all of us did nothing else all weekend!

Monday 6th

Felt like a pickle all day so I needed some hugging. I fell asleep in daddy's arms so he could watch TV whilst mummy went swimming, which mummy found out about when I wouldn't go to sleep at night! The next day mummy got her hair cut, with me getting fed under a big black gown. I managed to keep my hair on....(boom boom ☺)

Wednesday 8th

We went to the Big Scream cinema today. They had turned up the volume and subtitled the film, even though I was being the perfect baby! Hmmm. On the Thursday I got weighed again. I seem to get heavier every time they do that! (I've reached an almighty 12lb 1oz [5.5kg], though I'm now also 59cm long. Still on target for 6 metres by the time I'm twenty then!).

Friday 10th

Had a lazy day at home as my lunch appointment with Naomi was cancelled. So I spent my time working on a spectacular nappy filler instead. Then we went to Paul, Martina & Emily's where I screamed the place down after a while. But don't I look like an angel in the picture though!

Saturday 11th

Hey, I figured out how to hold this plastic boob!	Do I make this look easy or what?	I'm not letting go 'til I'm finished.

Sunday 12th

After a busy day getting cuddles from Karen, Andy, Susie and Caitlin, I gave the best nappy performance yet - So good I had to be put straight into the bath. (which, if you're not ready for it, deserves a good scream!)

STOP PRESS: I slept through the night till 8am! I think mummy & daddy will want me to try that again sometime...

Tuesday 14th

...after a good scream through Valentines dinner, I am now just sleeping for short stints, giving mummy a hard time.

Saturday 18th

Today was a lovely day, with beautiful sunshine. So we went out for lunch and then a walk by the river Cam (well, mummy and daddy had to carry me, though next time I want to face the other way so I can see where we're going!).

Mount Vesuvius exploded later that afternoon. My nappy didn't stand a chance. Sorry, too much information...

On Sunday we had another go at getting a passport photo done. How I'll get through passport control in 5 years time with that photo is anybody's guess!

Looks like I've managed to catch a bit of eczema from somewhere, so the doctor tells me. Hopefully the magic cream will sort it, as I'm no fan of that E45 cream which made me go bright red all over! By the way, I've had to go to Size 3 nappies, the old ones just couldn't fit it all in anymore.

Wednesday 22nd

Didn't manage to get up in time for the big scream cinema (could be that just possibly maybe I woke up too many times in the night...), but did get weighed again in the afternoon. Exactly on the Missus Average line at 12lb 9oz (5.7kg) so I must be doing something right!

Thursday was very busy with postnatal group, then coffee with the neighbours. In the evening I screamed as loud as I could whilst mummy was cooking lasagne, and even as Paul came round for dinner I couldn't help screaming some more.

On Friday we went to Tescos to buy a load of beer and wine. Apparently we're off to Harrogate next week as mummy is letting Daddy go skiing without me. ☺

Saturday 25th

I've just got myself a new office chair...	...but this new phone doesn't seem to work

Today I saw Gramps again, and Richard Rae popped in for a curry. I got lots of cuddles and only woke up at 3am and 5am: Mummy seemed quite happy about that!

Then on the Sunday Daddy went off early, and Gramps drove us to Harrogate. I will have to keep my eye on Sam, he just doesn't sit still now's he's learned to commando crawl everywhere. He even stole all my toys but I managed to pinch some of his as well. My favourite new toy is my Aussie Koala bear.

I got a surprise during the night when I woke up to find Gramps looking after me! We even went to take Grandma to work before mummy woke up.

Monday 27th

Today was shopping day, and mummy finally bought some clothes for herself. All I got was a load of balls (to put in my paddling pool). The highlight of the day was Sam trying to kiss me, though it was a bit wet and slobbery! ☺

Woke up every hour on the hour to do my alarm clock impression, till Gramps took me at 6am so mummy could have a lazy morning. She didn't get up till 10am!

On the Tuesday we all went for a walk (with me getting a ride in the sling of course!). Then mummy went out for dinner and I might have been a bit of a pain whilst Grandma and Gramps looked after me. Mummy had another long lie-in after I'd kept her up for a bit.
